F.8L Falco, G-HCBW

A rare opportunity to obtain a superb, low hour example of the classic, Italian designed, Falco. Designed by Stelio Frati, the type is considered a classic, with outstanding performance and handling. Wikipedia states that "the aircraft is widely considered to be one of the best handling, strongest, and most aesthetically pleasing designs ever made available to home builders". Pilots sometimes refer to the Falco as "the Ferrari of the air."

This aircraft won the Prince Michael of Kent trophy for Concours D’elegance at the LAA Rally in 2019.

G-HCBW is a 2018 Sequoia F.8L Falco with a Superior (Lycoming) XP-IO-320 engine giving 160HP, combined with an MT MTV-12-C/180-57 three blade, constant speed propeller.

Retractable undercarriage and constant speed prop give a very respectable 140 knot cruise speed at 23”/2300RPM. Higher cruise speeds are there for the taking, with increased fuel consumption.
