William T. Russell

I have some sad news to report. Bill Russell lost his son on Sunday, March 7, 2003. Bill Jr. had been at a rodeo, tripped over a rope or something and bumped his knee. Initially there was no pain but then it started to swell and he went to see a doctor, who said it was an infection and drained a clear fluid out of the knee. On Saturday, he went back to the doctor and the fluid had turned black, and he died the next day. The doctors said it was a staff infection that came out of nowhere and they were unable to arrest it. William T. Russell was Bill and Louisa Russell's only son and he was running the car dealership that Bill had owned and run for years.
