Benchmark

Engines are complicated and tedious things to model. You fill in the required data for the engine, plus power and fuel data, then manipulate things to get smooth curves.

For now, all you need to do is to become familiar with this. See Engine Modeling Power for a full tutorial on how to model the engine power.

There are three sets of data for fuel mixture. See Engine Modeling Fuel for more information on how to model the fuel usage of the engine.

To export an engine, drag the engine icon in the Benchmark window to the Finder.

To import (install) an engine, open the engine file and drag the engine into the airplane window.

Similarly, to import (install) a propeller, open the propeller file and drag the propeller into the airplane window.
