Instrument Panel Notes

Cecil Rives mentions that when you install the instrument panel, first hang the panel on the bolts and put two of the top nuts in place. This will allow the panel to swing out four to five inches. Next, hook up the three AMP plugs on the back of the panel. Because the panel is free to move out, it's much easier to get the plugs properly aligned, and you can installe the ring nuts without breaking them (which is very easy to do.) And, obviously, when you remove the panel, you reverse the process.
