Marcelo Bellodi
Tail Construction

Among our Falco builders, who tend to be compulsive perfectionists, no one has taken compulsive perfectionism to greater heights than Marcelo Bellodi.

He made elaborate jigs, he cast his own C-clamps, and he postponed skinning anything till the last stage of construction. Normally you skin a component as soon as you can and if you fail to do so, you make life more difficult for yourself. But this is Marcelo's airplane, and this is how he did it!

The elevator in the jig. Note the little arms that assure vertical alignment of the ribs.
