Preparation before drilling the holes for the bolts that keep the two parts of the fuselage together. The first thing we did was controlling the exact positioning of the tail.

So we used several wires to check the axis in each frame.

 

 

Drilling the holes wasn't easy. The tail was already drilled and there was not enough space for the drill. So we made this long flexible extension.

The fuselage is now joined with the tail!

 

 

I'm deep inside the Falco! It's a strange sensation.

 

 

Here is how the luggage compartment and frame No. 6 diagonal looks from the side.

 

 

This is how the frame 6 diagonal is glued on the side longeron. It's quite difficult to understand from the drawings, and now the spruce behind has to be cut and sanded to allow the canopy to slide backward.
