Sanding crew

Here are my friends Richard Pidcock (foreground) and Koby Marom sanding the hinge fairings to final fit!  They look happy and have been wonderful friends and a great help to me. We all own Jodels and fly together.  We are known in the club as the 'Falco Sanding Syndicate.' 

  

 

Main gear wheel fairing

You may note the teardrop fairings around the wheel wells.  We are not having doors because we are operating off grass.  However I found the wheels stuck out by approx 30mm.  So I thought a set of aerodynamic shaped fairings might help. They are actually shaped on an Eppler strut airfoil!
